No these lovely ankles do not belong to me nor do the shoes upon the feet, however I did purchase these Sam Edelman booties today. Mine are in pony hair w/a giraffe style print. I scored them for a lovely $36- at Nordstrom Rack. I've been needing a dressier boot that is easy on my ankle. Shorts, skirts, leggings, sweats, I will wear them w/EVERYTHING. And that's a nice thought, isn't it kids?

The more appropriate word I suppose would be 'Bargain' but I love the word cheap, because I am CHEAP. I just picked up these Jeffrey Campbell wedges from Nordstrom Rack for $49-. They retail for $138-, although now sold out most places from what I can tell. I needed a pair of platforms for Palm Springs that were A. Comfortable B. Neutral C. CHEAP. I was originally looking at a leopard pair (yes, leopard is neutral in my book) but spending $185- sounded like having teeth pulled. Sure I have forked over $900- for a pair of shoes, but only on a shoe I covet & are difficult to obtain. While this shoe isn't a top pick for me, once I put them on, saw how tall they made me (added 5 inches!) & how COMFORTABLE they were, I was sold. Even for $49- (still steep in my cheap book.) They even have a bit of elastic at the buckle allowing me to just slip them off rather than unbuckling. Which will be a dream once going through security at the airport.

I think these should be a birthday present to myself/they would be perfect for running around through the airport during my June trip{S} to Cali.

In other parts of the world I am already 25. I like knowing that somewhere else it is my birthday & I don't have to celebrate it.
